We call this section "Beyond eBay" for a very good
reason. You joined the BeastTamer's Club to learn how to buy & sell profitably on eBay. Okay... makes sense...
but to make really huge money online, and to easily quit that 9 to 5 routine, you need to harness the total
power of the internet... and apparently some members are just chomping at the bit to go there! eBay ads and web
pages are really the same thing. When your ad pops on the screen, your potential buyers are viewing "your"
web page. Of course everything pretty much looks the same on eBay, but that is just their format. You
actually provide the real content for that web page.
Well now... if you have learned to put ads on eBay, you have the basic knowledge to put ads (webpages) on the world
wide web. Oh sure there's a little more to it than that, but if you pick the right tools, everything is so automated
now that it is really pretty easy. When we first started online, back in the dark ages of the internet (1996),
it was a lot harder. There weren't any WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) programs around. We had to learn
to use HTML to be able to design and post everything. That wasn't all that bad, and we're glad to have the knowledge
now (everyone should have a very basic understanding of what goes on behind the scenes in the HTML coding), but
boy would our success curve have been shortened if we had just had a few of the great resources available today.
That's what this section is all about. We get so many questions from BeastTamers about the "outside-of-eBay"
world of selling on the web that we decided it was high time we started passing on some of the volumes of knowledge
that we have accumulated about successful web marketing as well. We're hoping to make the information available
as more of a short course... recommending good resources to shorten your learning curve and put you in business
ASAP! We're not going to attempt to make webmasters out of any of you. There are plenty of sites attempting to
do that. Most of the techniques and methods we will recommend are free (if they are good), but some of them will
cost a few bucks. It would be a shame not to recommend a great $20 or even $50 program that could save you thousands
of dollars in time and trouble. You don't have to purchase any of our recommendations, and you may be able to find
free knockoffs, but we promise not to suggest anything but the best in terms of time savers & money making
extras.
Keep checking
back for developments!
